Project Controls Manager Staffing for Data Centre Programs

Someone has to own the single version of the truth across schedule, cost and risk on a Data Centre program. We recruit Project Controls Managers who have carried that ownership at scale.

What a Project Controls Manager does

A Project Controls Manager leads the full project controls function — scheduling, cost control and risk management — across a Data Centre project or portfolio, managing Schedulers, Cost Engineers and Project Controls Engineers to a single, consistent reporting standard. They are the person ownership and project leadership turn to for an honest read of program health.

The role includes setting governance for baseline changes, leading monthly performance reviews with ownership, escalating integrated schedule and cost risk before it becomes a crisis, and defending the program's numbers under scrutiny from investors, lenders or the owner's leadership team. On larger programs the manager also owns the project controls software and reporting infrastructure.

This is a senior leadership role where technical credibility across both schedule and cost disciplines is essential — a manager who only understands one side loses the room quickly.
